Who stands behind the scholarship?
The scholarship is the generous contribution of the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation and the Association for the Soldier, in partnership with the Department for Discharged Soldiers and Reservists and managed by Edmond de Rothschild Partnerships.

What are the scholarship conditions?
The scholarship is divided into two types according to the reserve service days you completed:
Basic Scholarship
Admission Requirements: Eligibility approval for the scholarship from the Department for Discharged Soldiers and Reservists.
Receive: 12,000 ₪ in two installments for completing 90 hours of community activity.
Installment 1: 6,000 ₪ conditional upon completion of 45 hours of community activity.
Installment 2: 6,000 ₪ conditional upon completion of 45 additional hours of community activity in the same organization, totaling 90 hours of community activity.
Benefit: 10 enrichment and training hours. Gift from the Edmond de Rothschild Partnerships organization.
Enhanced Scholarship for Reservists
Admission Requirements: Eligibility approval for the scholarship from the Department for Discharged Soldiers and Reservists + approval for 60 days of reserve service and above starting from 1.1.2026
Receive: 18,000 ₪ in three installments.
Installment 1: 6,000 ₪ conditional upon completion of 45 hours of community activity.
Installment 2: 6,000 ₪ conditional upon completion of 45 additional hours of community activity in the same organization, totaling 90 hours of community activity.
Installment 3: 6,000 ₪ conditional upon approval of completion of more than 60 days of reserve service (only after completing 90 hours of community activity).
Benefit: 10 enrichment and training hours. Gift from the Edmond de Rothschild Partnerships organization.

Choose an organization from the list of organizations open for community activity. You can apply to more than one organization, but you must complete all activity hours in one organization only!

Go through the organization acceptance process.

If you were accepted to the organization, you can start reporting the activity hours you completed using the computerized system. Please note, if you report in the organization's internal system, you must also report again in this Making an Impact in Studies computerized system

The organization approves the activity hours in the Making an Impact in Studies system

Subject to meeting all conditions, the scholarship will be transferred within three months of approval of hours in the system by the organization in which you operate

The activity can only be performed in organizations approved by Edmond de Rothschild Partnerships and appearing in the computerized portal.
Yes, you can apply to multiple organizations, but you must choose only one organization in which you must complete all activity hours.
No, you must complete the community activity hours in the same organization where you started. Exception requests will be discussed individually.
For the scholarship for the academic year 2025-2026, all activity hours must be completed by August 2026.
These are 10 effective and relevant online training and enrichment hours for today's job market, delivered by the Edmond de Rothschild Partnerships organization and TAUGA company. Eligibility for a reserve service grant for completing 60 days of reserve service and above will only be given to those who completed 90 hours of community activity.
There is no travel reimbursement.
In order to receive the scholarship, you must ensure compliance with two steps:
- Enter all completed hours in the Making an Impact in Studies computerized system.
- Approval of all hours by the organization in which you completed the hours.

Please make sure you have completed the steps that depend on you – you entered the hours in the Making an Impact in Studies system and your organization approved these hours. If so, remember that there are fixed dates to actually receive the scholarship.
